AGM - Monday 16th March
We are delighted to invite you to our AGM on Monday 16th March 2026 at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church Hall
Non-members are very welcome to attend by joining at the door on the day
We have invited guest speakers and the final Agenda will be circulated to all households across BERA’s 27 roads in a few weeks time, but will include Traffic, Wimbledon Tennis, Local Crime, Planning, including the AELTC’s proposals as well as updates from our MP, Paul Kohler (TBC), our local councillors, Wimbledon & Putney Commons Conservators and the Wimbledon Village Business Association.
This year we have been generously sponsored by Sotheby's International Realty Limited. This will enable us to not only give you all a glass or few of wine and some delicious nibbles but will allow us to augment our website offering, cover our printing costs, relevant memberships (Wimbledon Union of Residents’ Association & The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England), and other costs that have previously come out of our annual subscriptions or been borne by Committee members who, as you know, are all volunteers.
It is important that we always have a surplus for unforeseen issues, especially legal challenges that may arise now and in the future.
We would especially like to thank Robert Holmes for their many many years of sponsorship for the AGM which has been invaluable, along with their visible support for several decades.
Jeroboams, who provided our refreshments last year as a generous Community gesture. will be supplying wine and nibbles this year at a very favourable rate.
